Suzuki Kizashi Review

Suzuki Kizashi, the first four-door saloon form the Japanese manufacturer is a sporty offer on the traditional recipe. You are less likely to see it on the British roads. But it is a good option for all those who are willing to try out something different and looking for a good option for a used wheelchair access cars Derbyshire.

Exterior and Interiors

Suzuki Kizashi is a good looking car and has been a very popular model in Australia, India, US and Canada, , New Zealand. Today, it’s a rare sight in stores. With well -balanced proportions, surrounded by a neat chrome tailpipe, it looks great on the outsides. When looking at the insides, you will find a typically Japanese interior. It is well laid out and feels solid and long-lasting, but there’s low visual excitement. It is a little tricky to view menu options and change settings of the stereo display. However, the standard leather seats will appeal to the buyers.

Performance

Clearly, Suzuki Kizashi wasn’t designed for the UK market. A 2.4-litre petrol engine is coupled to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) when you look under the bonnet.  But the model fails to make an eco statement. The Max power is 178bhp and it takes about 8.8 seconds to go from zero to 62mph.

Running costs

According to Suzuki’s figures, the big petrol engine is able to average a poor 34mpg even with that efficient CVT gearbox.

Dependability

Suzuki Kizashi offers an excellent reliability. Well-engineered and built with robust components, you won’t find any problems with the brakes. It works extremely well under both extremer cold and hot weather conditions.

Pros

  • Handling is good
  • saloon version of the Swift Sport
  •  Impressive within the price

Cons

  • Expensive and thirty petrol engine
  • Outdated central displays and gauges
  • Difficult and expensive to maintain

Suzuki Kizashi looks good and revs up well. Just get ready to put up with that thirsty engine and automatic gearbox. Kizashi is smaller as compared to an Accord or Camry . Hence, this is definitely not the choice for those who want the more space for money. Compact and muscular appearance, Suzuki Kizashi is quite similar to the proper sports sedan. The performance figures seem to be very surprising and the Kizashi is all set to be a sports entrant, as it is nimble and light. And it certainly plays the part well!

The Biggest Loosers – Depreciation Exposed

A new survey published this week has exposed the truth behind vehicle depreciation levels.

Vehicle valuation specialists Cap, have released a list of the biggest depreciators on the market, with some shocking results. The biggest depreciating car on the market turns out to be a Vauxhall Zafira, which on average will sell for just 29.2% of its original value after just 3 years of ownership. In fact, Vauxhall appeared to largely dominate the list, landing a surprising 3 vehicles in the top 10.

Perhaps more surprisingly is the number of reliable family cars which have made the list as being some of the worst for depreciation. Could this be because family cars are the most used and abused types of cars?

The Skoda Yeti, which ranked 2nd best for holding its value, is in extremely high demand. The waiting list for a new Yeti is not far off 1 year, so it’s hardly surprising that used Yetis are also worth an average of 65.4% of their original value after 3 years.

On the other end of the scale, the Audi Q5 was rated the best performing car in the depreciation tables, with a resale value of around 72.5% after 3 years. Of course, you could always buy used cars Bristol which also rated well, holding high resale values and proving themselves to be some of the most investable cars around.

Fiat 500 Abarth is a Pricey American Introduction

Fiat’s recent North American introduction has seen mild success due to the spiking rates of fuel, forcing some Americans to ditch their beloved SUV’s for a more economical, yet fun option.

This continues with the Fiat 500 Abarth, a more sporty and speedy version of the 500. With 160bhp and a price tag of $22,000, the new Abarth certainly isn’t cheap.

Let’s compare the prices with other sporty cars like the 2012 Mustang v6, coming in at $22,300 or even the 181hp Mini cooper S with a retail price of $23,800. We believe Fiat is going to price itself out of the market unless they offer more for the American consumer.

The Abarth is powered by a 1.4 liter turbo engine with 160hp at 5500 RPM and 170 FT LB of torque. It also comes with a five speed manual gearbox.

Performance numbers for the U.S. version are not available at the minute, but our Fiat 500 from the U.K. is a pretty nippy ride. We will update as soon as we receive further information.
